With the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, for some us, our work-life and personal-life changed significantly. As a working mom of two mini-humans, making that important shift from kids playing and being educated at school while I was at work, to both kids receiving their education at-home, while I too, mitigated the new at-home work-life dynamic, was a challenge to say the least.
In the process of working on the important tasks that we had for our business, or employer, we now had to fight the upward battle of Zoom calls and children playing in the background, tech and internet challenges, amongst other at-home variables.
This is a tough transition for everyone! So please take a breath, be kind with yourself, and know that we're all pressing our way through this new dynamic.
Find your balance. Give yourself some alone time or meditation room to reset you mind and your spirit. Even if that means hiding in the bathroom for a moment, taking a walk in your neighborhood, going for a bike ride, or practicing some yoga - YOU got this and you'll get through this.
Truth is, we are all trying to figure this out. We'll get through this together.
